Wizkid equals Burna Boy’s Billboard 200 record

 Singer Wizkid has matched his fellow artist Burna Boy’s record for the most charting albums by a Nigerian artist in Billboard 200 history.

The Starboy CEO accomplished this milestone when his new album ‘Morayo’ opened at number 98, selling 13,000 units in its first week.

As a result, Wizkid now shares the title with Burna Boy, each having placed four albums on the Billboard 200. Music monitoring platform Chart Data confirmed the tie via X on Friday.

Additionally, ‘Morayo’ made its debut at number 4 on the Billboard World Albums chart.

With the recent announcement of his fifth studio album ‘5IVE’ set to release next year, Davido could also join this tie, having already debuted three albums on the chart.
