Renowned Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has revealed her struggle with a life-threatening illness.The 46-year-old shared this information in a video posted on her Instagram page on Thursday.
In the caption of the viral video, she mentioned that she had surgery to have her gallbladder removed.
Expressing her thankfulness to God, Omotola stated, “Have you ever been told by a doctor that there’s nothing more we can do at this time? And yet you still feel like you’re on the brink of death.”
Describing the onset of her condition, she said, “I was vomiting throughout the night. By morning, I experienced intense stomach pain and had to be rushed to the emergency room for the third time!"
"This time, I was taken in for a CT scan, ultrasound, and an MRI. The doctor then informed me that I needed to undergo surgery right away to have my gallbladder removed. That's when the fight for my life began."
