Let me inherit your fanbase if you retire – Ruger begs Wizkid

 Nigerian singer Ruger has reached out to his fellow artist Wizkid, expressing a desire to inherit his fanbase when he decides to retire from music.

The 'Bounce' artist made this request through his X account on Saturday.

Ruger urged Wizkid to consider naming him as the successor to his fanbase if he chooses to step away from music, especially if his son, Zion, is not interested in pursuing a music career. He wrote, “@wizkidayo if you ever decide to stop making music, and Zion is not interested in music either, please include my name, Ruger, as the one to inherit your fanbase in your music will.”

Wizkid has not yet responded to Ruger’s appeal.

Wizkid is known for having one of the most dedicated fanbases in Africa, commonly referred to as Wizkid FC.
