EPL: Arteta confirms Arsenal top player hasn’t trained ahead Chelsea clash

 Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed that key midfielder Declan Rice has not participated in training ahead of his side's Premier League match against Chelsea.

The Gunners are set to face Chelsea in an away London derby at Stamford Bridge this Sunday.

Rice picked up a foot injury during Arsenal's Premier League loss to Newcastle United last weekend and was also absent for their Champions League defeat to Inter Milan earlier this week.

Ahead of the Chelsea game, Arteta provided an update on Rice, stating:

"Declan Rice has not trained yet, and we are still unsure if he will be available for the Chelsea match."
