Davido’s 30BG FC unveiled

 Afrobeat artist Davido has announced the acquisition of a new sports club, 30BG FC.

The news was shared in a trending post on the Lagos Liga X account on Wednesday evening.

The post states: “THE WAIT IS OVER! Introducing 30BG Sports Club to Lagos Liga 2024. The 001 has arrived. Davido, a globally recognized singer, goes beyond music and entertainment, making an impact in culture, politics, and more. “Opponents, be warned! Davido's presence elevates the competition. But will 30BG FC come out on top?”

This announcement follows closely behind Big Brother Naija star Tacha's acquisition of her own football club just two weeks prior.

According to HENRYSHUSTLE, other Nigerian celebrities who own football clubs in the country include Burna Boy and Don Jazzy.
