The English winger has been with Manchester City since 2021, following a hefty £100 million transfer from Aston Villa. His time at City has had its ups and downs, with the 2022/23 season standing out as his best.
As the Premier League champions head into 2025, there is considerable uncertainty regarding Grealish's future. Although the 29-year-old is under contract at the Etihad until 2027, clubs like Tottenham are monitoring his situation closely.
Former Premier League scout Mick Brown updated Football Insider on Grealish’s prospects, indicating that Tottenham is “tracking” him in light of the upcoming summer transfer window in 2025. A January transfer seems highly unlikely; however, a move could occur once the 2024/25 season concludes.
“If City decides he no longer fits into their plans, he could leave,” Brown remarked. “We know Jack provides significant value when playing in a supportive role, but if they believe they can recoup some funds, that’s a decision they’ll have to make.
"He would certainly be an asset for Tottenham, and they have been keeping tabs on him. He could help mitigate their current issue of high-scoring games, as they can score plenty but also concede too many."
