Wizkid’s ‘Piece of My Heart’ becomes first song to surpass 1m daily stream on Spotify Nigeria

 Singer Ayodeji Balogun, known as Wizkid, has set a record for the biggest streaming day on Spotify Nigeria.

His new single, "Piece of My Heart," featuring American R&B star Brent Faiyaz, is the first song to surpass 1 million streams on Spotify Nigeria. 

The track achieved 1.016 million streams in just one day. As a result, Nigeria became the 22nd country to have a song reach over 1 million streams on its Spotify Chart in a single day.

"Piece of My Heart" debuted at number 90 on the Global Spotify Chart with 1.7 million streams.

On its first day of release, the song garnered 2.27 million streams globally, marking the largest streaming debut for an African artist in Spotify history.
