Turkey: Galatasaray want Osimhen available for Istanbul derby vs Besiktas

 Galatasaray is working to ensure Victor Osimhen is fit for the upcoming Istanbul derby against Besiktas, reports HENRYSHUSTLE.

Osimhen resumed training on Saturday after suffering a muscle injury during the Turkish Super Lig champions' 3-3 draw with Kasimpasa last month. This injury sidelined him for the UEFA Europa League match against Rigas FS and the league fixture against Alanyaspor. He was also excluded from Nigeria's squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches against Libya.

The Istanbul derby against Besiktas is scheduled for October 28. Osimhen has recorded two goals and three assists in four matches for Galatasaray.
