Transfer: Real Madrid ‘regret’ signing Mbappe

Real Madrid are reportedly “regretting” their decision to sign Kylian Mbappe last summer and are “gutted” by his performance since joining the club.

Mbappe arrived as a free agent after leaving Paris Saint-Germain and has scored seven goals in 11 games since then.

Journalist Romain Molina told Colininterview, “They regret bringing him in. I can guarantee that. I've discussed it off the record. It hasn’t been at all what they were expecting. It was a whim of [Florentino] Perez; he was the only one who wanted him.”

Molina added, “The club is disappointed, particularly with his performance levels, which are not what they anticipated. The atmosphere in the dressing room isn't great, although that's not entirely Mbappe’s fault.”
