“Tempted by the opportunity” – Premier League manager interested in Man United job

Mick Brown, the former chief scout and assistant manager at Manchester United, has stated that Newcastle United's manager, Eddie Howe, is intrigued by the prospect of managing the Red Devils. Erik ten Hag’s future at the club is uncertain following a disappointing season, with the team currently sitting in 11th place in the league and having lost both of their Europa League matches.

Their overall performance has been lacking across all areas, which could jeopardize Ten Hag’s position. Several top managers have been mentioned as potential candidates for Old Trafford, and Howe is among them.

“I’ve heard he’d be tempted by the opportunity,” Brown told Football Insider. “Regardless of the club's current situation, anyone would be drawn to that offer. There are significant issues that need addressing, but it’s a fantastic place to be, and it’s one of the biggest clubs in the world.”
