Nasarawa Amazon midfielder Chinyere Mercy Kalu is on the brink of completing a transfer to Spanish Liga F side Real Betis.
Kalu left the country on Saturday to finalize her move to Real Betis.
She was a standout performer for Nasarawa Amazons in the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) last season and also represented Nigeria at the 2022 U-20 World Cup in Costa Rica.
The official announcement from the club is expected once all final details are sorted out.
If the transfer goes through, she will become the first Nigerian to play for Real Betis.
