LaLiga: Real Madrid suffer fresh major injury blow

Real Madrid has faced a significant injury setback ahead of their LaLiga match against Celta Vigo on October 19.

The club announced on Tuesday that defender Eder Militão has been diagnosed with a muscle injury in the quadriceps of his left leg.

Militão’s recovery will be closely monitored by Los Blancos during the international break. This news follows Real Madrid’s recent 2-0 victory over Villarreal in LaLiga.

“Following tests conducted by Real Madrid Medical Services, Eder Militão has been diagnosed with a muscle injury in the quadriceps of his left leg. His progress will be monitored,” the club’s statement noted.

Militão is expected to be sidelined for ten days, with hopes that the Brazilian international will return to action for Carlo Ancelotti’s team later this month.
