Real Madrid star Luka Modric expressed his pride after setting two records at the club.
On Saturday, he became the oldest player to participate in an official match for Los Blancos, playing against Celta Vigo in LaLiga. At 39 years and 40 days old, he surpassed the legendary Ferenc Puskás’s record from 1966. Modric also became the oldest player to hold the most titles at Madrid.
After the match, Modric shared his thoughts through Fabrizio Romano:
“I’m proud to be part of Real Madrid’s history as the oldest player and for winning the most titles. I’m happy to have achieved all of this with Real Madrid.”
