Afrobeats singer Ayra Starr has expressed her concerns about how her hectic schedule as an artist affects her appearance.
Despite being born in 2002, she feels “old,” noting that she has encountered people born in the 90s who seem younger and more vibrant than herself. Starr shared her thoughts during an interview with Rode in Nairobi, Kenya.
“I’ve met people born in the 90s, and they’re so lively and youthful. Here I am, feeling old at just 2002,” she lamented. “I just want to stay home and sleep.”
Regarding her creative process, the singer added, “I feel like the more music I create, the clearer my path becomes and the better I understand what I’m trying to achieve.”
