EPL: He was always in my house – Mane on relationship with ex-Liverpool star

 Al Nassr forward Sadio Mane has shared details about his friendship with former Liverpool teammate Georginio Wijnaldum.

Mane recalled that Wijnaldum frequently visited his home while they played together at Liverpool. In a recent interview (via Liverpool Echo), he described Wijnaldum as having a kind heart.

“Gini is one of my very good friends. With him, it’s more than just football; our bond developed naturally. We arrived at Liverpool around the same time, and he’s the type of person who quickly makes friends with everyone on the team. Everyone likes him,” Mane said.

“He’s special, which is why we became such good friends during my time there—he was always at my house. Sometimes he’d call me to come over, and I’d say, ‘Not yet! Get out of here!’”

Wijnaldum currently plays for Al-Ettifaq in Saudi Arabia.
