Renowned Nigerian artist Ayra Starr has surpassed 2 billion streams on Spotify across all credits.
As reported by the Spotify data aggregator Kworb, Ayra achieved this milestone on October 10, 2024.
This achievement follows the release of her second album, **The Year I Turned 21**, which has garnered over 500 million streams on Spotify.
With this accomplishment, Ayra joins other Nigerian artists such as Burna Boy, Rema, Tems, Wizkid, CKay, and Davido, all of whom have also exceeded 2 billion Spotify streams across various credits.
The announcement came just hours after Ayra received four nominations for the 2024 MTV EMAs.
