Singer Korede Bello has revealed the reasons behind his departure from Don Jazzy's Mavins Records.
Henryshustle notes that Bello, who joined Mavins in February 2014, left the label in 2021.
In a recent interview with Hip TV hosted by reality star KimOprah, Bello explained that his decision to leave Mavins stemmed from feeling like he was merely a product used for profit. He shared, “I reached a point where I needed to evolve, explore my true self, and engage in introspection to understand my purpose and reconnect with my 'why.'
“I began to feel like I was just a product at Mavins Records, there to generate revenue. When you're constantly chasing the next hit or seeking validation, you lose sight of what truly matters. Many artists become trapped in this cycle,” he added.
