In a post-eviction interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Mickey confessed that he had told his fellow housemates he was 28, when he was actually 24.
He explained that he felt compelled to lie about his age because Ozee frequently made age a topic of discussion, which made him uncomfortable. Mickey shared, “I’m actually 24 years old. I told Ozee I was 28 because he often brings age into conversations.
“There was a moment when he mentioned he had been in Nigeria before I was born, and it really bothered me. That’s why, during his argument with Fairme, I suggested Fairme ignore him and go upstairs because Ozee would never admit he was wrong.”
Mickey also apologized for his behavior towards Wanni, admitting he had misjudged her. “It took me a while to realize that Wanni actually has a very kind heart. I’m sorry for misinterpreting her. Wanni is genuinely a very soft-hearted person,” he said.
Previously, Mickey had vowed to “force” Wanni and her twin sister, Handi, to voluntarily leave the show, accusing them of being “rude.”
