Ayra Starr to perform at CANEX WKND concert in Algeria

 Renowned Nigerian singer Ayra Starr and South Africa’s DJ Maphorisa are set to perform at the 2024 Creative Africa Nexus Weekend (CANEX WKND) concert.

This year’s event will take place from October 16 to 19, 2024, in Algiers, Algeria.

CANEX WKND is a premier platform that highlights Africa’s creative and cultural industries. Other artists scheduled to perform include Kenyan singer Sofiya Nzau, the Tuareg music group Tinariwen from southern Algeria, and South Africa’s Kabza De Small alongside DJ Maphorisa.

According to DAILY POST, Ayra Starr gained international fame with her hit song “Bloody Samaritan” in 2021.
