In an appearance on the Adesope Live show, Rudeboy discussed the challenge of balancing family life with a music career, saying, "In the old ways of doing music, people like us should have retired by now."
He added, "There’s a time for everything in life, and things will always change. If you're a celebrity who thinks you'll always be seen as an angel, you're mistaken. Everyone faces challenges at some point."
Rudeboy also pointed out that every top artist has faced criticism and scandals, and upcoming artists will likely experience the same. The key, he emphasized, is one's character and how they manage these issues.
Rudeboy gained fame in the 2000s as part of the P-Square duo with his twin brother, Peter Okoye, also known as Mr. P. The group first split in 2016 but reunited in 2021. In August 2024, Rudeboy confirmed that P-Square had once again parted ways after Peter accused him and their older brother, Jude Okoye, who was also their former manager, of misappropriating the group's funds.
