‘Drake, Shallipopi, Odumodublvck inspired me’ – Victony

 Nigerian musician Anthony Ebuka Victor, better known as Victony, recently shared his rap inspirations. The artist, who began his career as a rapper before exploring other genres, mentioned that his hip-hop influences include global icons like Kendrick Lamar, Drake, J. Cole, and Meek Mill, as well as fellow Nigerians MI Abaga, Odumodublvck, and Shallipopi.

During a recent interview with Sway Universe, Victony said, "I started my career as a rapper. I really admired Kendrick Lamar early on because of his artistry. Kendrick isn't just about what he says; it's also about his visualization and the way he presents it to his audience. That made me a devoted fan of Kendrick."
