Artistes shouldn’t have standards on how they dress – Tems

"Singer Tems has expressed that there shouldn't be a set standard for how artists dress. In a recent interview with Essence Magazine, she emphasized that artists should showcase their personal styles, highlighting that individual uniqueness is what makes people special. Tems elaborated that her fashion choices reflect her authenticity, rather than trying to project a specific message. She said, 'You should be yourself, even if there are other expectations. You automatically win when you stay true to yourself, regardless of appearances. That’s why we have variety. 'We are all different and not meant to be the same. While there may be a standard, there shouldn’t be one dictating how artists or women should dress. 'I believe we are all unique. There shouldn’t be a requirement or an expectation for dressing a certain way.'"
