South African rapper Malome Vector dies in car accident

 Renowned South African rapper Malome Vector has tragically died in a car accident.

Vector was traveling with musical collaborators Puleng Phoofolo and Lizwi Wokuqala when the accident occurred in the Free State on Wednesday evening.

His former record label, Ambitiouz Entertainment, confirmed the sad news in a statement posted on Wednesday evening.

Two additional individuals were reportedly taken to Boitumelo Regional Hospital with injuries.

“With heavy hearts, we mourn the loss of a remarkable talent; the Lion of Lesotho’s light has dimmed. Our deepest sympathies go out to his family and industry colleagues during this time of profound grief.”

According to a report from the Free State Department of Health, “three men were pronounced dead at the scene of an accident on the N1 near the Koppies turn-off, close to Kroonstad.”
