In a statement posted on his official channels on Saturday, Momodu revealed that the court has referred the case to the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) section for potential settlement during Settlement Week.
Offering his perspective on the ongoing situation, Dele advised Davido and Sophia to establish a structured framework for their daughter's welfare and refrain from airing grievances on social media. He emphasized the importance of engaging sincerely with the ADR process rather than making detrimental and irreversible statements online, which not only contravene the law but also jeopardize the child's best interests.
"For the past nine years, I have endeavored to facilitate amicable resolutions of disputes and urged both parents to establish a proper framework for their daughter's welfare," Dele wrote. He highlighted that Sophia did not initiate the court proceedings but seeks to safeguard their child and ensure a secure and sustainable manner for father-child interactions.
Dele cautioned against heated rhetoric in the media, stressing that such actions only exacerbate what is already a distressing experience for everyone involved, particularly the child.
