Court documents reveal Diddy allegedly ‘paid’ $1m to have 2Pac killed

 Sean Combs, also known as Diddy, a prominent figure in the American music industry, has been accused in recent court filings of involvement in the 1996 murder of rapper Tupac Shakur. According to documents obtained by the U.S. Sun, the head of Bad Boys Records allegedly paid $1 million to have Shakur killed, based on claims made by suspect Duane “Keefe D” Davis, who was arrested for the murder last year.

The court papers, filed on Thursday (July 18), mention Diddy by his various aliases—Puffy, Puff Daddy, Puff—as well as his real name, Sean Combs, a total of 77 times. The documents suggest that Davis implicated Diddy, stating that Diddy had allegedly paid Eric Von Martin the sum of $1 million to carry out the assassination.

In transcripts cited in the filings, Davis reportedly testified to Diddy’s involvement in the murder of Tupac Shakur. When questioned by police about Diddy's role, Davis indicated that he believed Diddy played a part in the incident. Davis claimed that Diddy expressed fear of Marion "Suge" Knight and animosity towards Shakur, particularly after Shakur released a song insulting Diddy.

Prosecutors submitted these documents as part of their opposition to Davis’ recent bail request, which was denied due to concerns regarding the funds used for his bail bond, totaling $112,500.

As of now, it remains uncertain whether Diddy will be summoned or formally charged in connection with this case.
