Beyoncé introduces Team USA at 2024 Paris Olympics

American singer Beyoncé made a surprise appearance during NBC's broadcast of the 2024 Paris Olympics opening ceremony on Friday night, where she introduced several American athletes.

The 'Drunk In Love' singer appeared in a striking red, white, and blue outfit, featuring a 'USA' leotard, a flowing cape, cowboy boots, and a cowboy hat.

“Take a look at America, y’all,” Beyoncé began, with her hit song ‘Ya Ya’ from her latest album, ‘Cowboy Carter,’ playing in the background. “These hopes and dreams, these superstars representing us, from this big, bold, beautiful, complex nation—all coming together to support them.”

She highlighted a few of the athletes—Simone Biles, Sha’Carri Richardson, Noah Lyles, Caeleb Dressel, and Katie Ledecky.

“That pride and joy? That’s what I love about this team. That’s what makes me believe in them, and I’m so excited to see what they achieve over the next 16 days. America, let’s hear it for Team U.S.A., the very best of who we are. What a vision, what a team, and what a night to celebrate,” she concluded.
