She attributed this to her demanding schedule, stating, "I think my siblings are my friends. I have people that I’m cordial with, but not serious friendships like that."
Akindele elaborated on her busy lifestyle, mentioning her commitment to running a studio and consistently producing films for cinemas and streaming platforms. "I’m very busy. So I just get busy with work and my children," she explained, highlighting her preference for spending time in her personal space rather than attending social gatherings.
Regarding her relationship with Eniola Badmus, whom she was previously close to, Funke expressed fondness for her and humorously noted, "Eniola Badmus cracks me up so much. I love to chill with her." However, she acknowledged that their busy lives have naturally led them on separate paths: "But, we have been so busy with life. Everybody is doing their thing."
