‘This one don pass JagaJaga’ – Eedris Abdulkareem on hardship under Tinubu govt

Veteran musician Eedris Abdulkareem has compared the current administration's handling of hardship to the era when he released his controversial satirical song, ‘Nigeria Jagajaga’, during former President Olusegun Obasanjo's tenure. Abdulkareem criticized President Bola Tinubu’s administration for attributing the country's difficulties to the previous government instead of effectively addressing them.

In his latest song 'Emilokan', Abdulkareem bemoaned the widespread hardship and insecurity in Nigeria, stating, “Under Tinubu's government, blame goes to Buhari; under Buhari, it's directed at Jonathan. People are suffering and dying. The situation now surpasses what I sang about in 'JagaJaga'. Emilokan oti ebi lokan.”
