Obinna Iyiegbu, widely known as Obi Cubana, a prominent businessman and socialite, has appealed to Nigerian blogs to refrain from publicizing instances where young people insult their elders.
His plea came on Wednesday following music executive Paul Okoye's (aka Paulo) call for his colleagues to distance themselves from VeryDarkMan, a self-styled social media activist who recently made derogatory comments about actress Iyabo Ojo.
Expressing his concern on Instagram, Obi Cubana emphasized that society should not condone such behavior any longer.
In his Instagram story, he wrote: "Dear blogs, please refrain from giving visibility to youth insulting elders! Your attention only encourages them. We cannot continue to tolerate such nonsense!!! Please stop!"
