Tems emphasized the uniqueness of her music within the Nigerian context, remarking, "It is unheard of to do my type of music as a Nigerian in Nigeria." Additionally, she conveyed her disinterest in being portrayed as a sex symbol, asserting her primary focus on her musical craft: "I'm here to work."
The R&B singer also shared her journey of self-acceptance, admitting that she hasn't always been comfortable with her body. She addressed any potential distractions caused by her appearance by deliberately adopting a low-key style during studio sessions, stating, "If my being attractive is disturbing you, I will help you."
