Justin Timberlake has been taken into custody in New York.
Reports indicate that the singer was arrested on Monday night in Sag Harbor, a community in the Hamptons, New York.
According to local outlet Newsday, a police spokesperson confirmed Timberlake’s arrest, with Sag Harbor Justice Court officials verifying that the charges are related to driving while intoxicated (DWI).
The pop star is set to appear in court for arraignment on Tuesday, as stated by the Suffolk County district attorney’s office.
These developments coincide with Timberlake’s ongoing ‘The Forget Tomorrow World Tour,’ which includes upcoming performances in Chicago this weekend and two shows scheduled in New York City next week.
