Entrepreneur and socialite Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has shared that the insecurity prevailing in the Southeast compelled him to relocate his business operations to Lagos State.
In a recent interview with BBC Igbo, he revealed this decision. Cubana Chief Priest expressed his concern over the rising incidents of kidnapping and violence, which have deterred customers from frequenting establishments in the East, a region previously bustling with activity.
Lamenting the situation, he remarked, "There is widespread hunger in the South-East. It is disheartening to see that some members of our community aid criminals by providing them with information. As a result, the wealthy have become targets, prompting them to refrain from returning home during festive seasons. This is the reason why I relocated my business to Lagos."
