The Weeknd, Rihanna’s partner A$AP Rocky diss Drake in new songs

The Weeknd and A$AP Rocky seem to have thrown subtle jabs at Drake on Future and Metro Boomin's latest album, 'We Still Don't Trust You.'

The Weeknd, appearing on a track called 'All To Myself,' reaffirmed his allegiance to Future and Metro Boomin's faction of the hip-hop scene. He also boasted about rejecting Drake's proposal to join Ovo Sounds back in 2011.

"They could never discredit my comrades, even with vulnerabilities in their operations. I'm grateful I never surrendered my autonomy."

"Their shooters are busy making TikToks," he rhymed.

Similarly, Rihanna's partner, A$AP Rocky, known affectionately as Flacko, also appeared to throw a jab at Drake on a track titled 'Show of Hands.'

Flaunting that he "hit it first" before Drake, who previously dated Rihanna in 2009-2010, A$AP Rocky asserted, "Flacko hit it first, son / Still don’t trust you / Always us, never them."

"I heard you released your latest work / Funny how it just came and went," A$AP rapped.

While A$AP Rocky publicly acknowledged his relationship with Rihanna in 2021, there have been rumors suggesting the pair were always close, even during Rihanna's past relationships.
