Nigerian musician Kelechi Austin Miles, popularly known as Tekno, has refuted rumors suggesting he earned N1 billion in royalties from his joint track with fellow artist Kizz Daniel, titled 'Buga'.
An article on Budget TV purported that Tekno had revealed to them that Kizz Daniel regularly shares 50 percent of the 'Buga' earnings with him each month. They further alleged that he mentioned receiving nearly a billion Naira from Kizz Daniel as royalties for the song.
Responding to the blog post, Tekno dismissed the interview as "fake." Taking to his X handle, he stated: "His money isn't enough. Anyone spreading that false interview, may thunder strike your mother. #TalkingNonsense."
