Big Brother Naija reality star, Doyinsola Anuoluwapo David, known as Doyin, has criticized singer Wizkid for seeking attention on social media.
According to HENRYSHUSTLE, Wizkid caused a stir on X platform on Monday by throwing indirect jabs at Davido and Don Jazzy.
In response, Doyin expressed her disapproval, stating that Wizkid was merely trying to gain attention and should focus on releasing music instead.
She specifically admonished Wizkid for showing disrespect towards Don Jazzy.
On her Instagram page, she wrote: “Don Jazzy still holds the title of the JayZ of the Nigerian music industry. Disrespecting him only reflects poorly on your character. Stop seeking attention and focus on creating hits!”
Similarly, reality TV star and media personality Tacha cautioned Wizkid against making any derogatory remarks or showing disrespect towards Don Jazzy.
In a video message shared on her social media platforms, Tacha emphasized Don Jazzy's significant contributions to the Nigerian music scene.
She asserted that without Don Jazzy, a considerable portion of the Afrobeats industry would cease to exist.
Tacha stated, “Any form of criticism towards Don Jazzy will not be tolerated. Don Jazzy's influence on the entertainment industry cannot be overstated.
“If you were to remove Don Jazzy's contributions from the industry, you would be eliminating half of Afrobeats. Who else would you be listening to? Don Jazzy has nurtured numerous global superstars.
“He extends his support to everyone, regardless of their status.”
Meanwhile, Don Jazzy responded to Wizkid's remarks by unfollowing him on Instagram.
