Nigerian artist 1Da Banton has shared that he contributed to his colleague Davido’s track 'No Competition,' featuring Asake, by writing it. Additionally, he mentioned his involvement as a producer for Davido’s song 'Na Money,' which features Angelique Kidjo and The Cavemen.
During his appearance on the latest episode of the Afrobeats Podcast hosted by Adesope, the 'No Wahala' singer revealed, “I was behind the production of Davido’s 'Na Money' with The Cavemen and also penned 'No Competition' featuring Asake.”
1Da Banton also credited Nasboi, a popular skit maker and singer who happened to date his sister, for inspiring him to pursue a career in music. "The ex-boyfriend of my older sister, Nasboi, was the one who motivated me to venture into music," he added.
