During an appearance on the Big Friday Show With Tach on Cool FM in Lagos, Godwin stated, "I would rather be with a wealthy man who may occasionally stray but respects me, than with a faithful but financially struggling partner. Money is a crucial aspect of a relationship; it cannot be ignored. I'm not condoning infidelity, but I value financial stability."
She further elaborated, "The pain of being cheated on by a financially insecure partner is compounded. Therefore, I prioritize being with a wealthy individual who acknowledges their mistakes and moves forward. However, if disrespect becomes a recurring issue, especially in public, I draw the line. Respect is non-negotiable for me, and if it's compromised, I will walk away."
