Afrobeats sensation Tiwa Savage has opened up about the inspiration behind her journey into music.
The 'Koroba' singer disclosed that initially, her aspiration was to pursue acting. However, her path shifted towards music due to a romantic interest she harbored for a particular individual.
She explained that her crush was often surrounded by musicians, prompting her to forsake her initial passion for acting in favor of pursuing a career in music.
She revealed this during a recent interview with MTV.
Savage explained, "I've always had a passion for acting. It was one of my earliest interests before music. However, I ventured into music because of a romantic interest I had in a guy who was frequently in the company of musicians. So, I decided to set aside acting and pursue a career in music instead."
