Gospel singer Morenikeji ‘Egbin Orun’ is dead

 

Morenikeji Adeleke, a renowned gospel singer known as Egbin Orun, has passed away, as confirmed in an Instagram post on Sunday by her colleague Esther Igbekele.

Expressing shock and sorrow, Igbekele lamented Egbin Orun's sudden departure without the chance to bid farewell. She recounted their recent conversation, unaware of the impending tragedy.

Igbekele praised Egbin Orun's beauty, kindness, and unwavering support for her ministry. She expressed deep sadness at the loss, acknowledging that while Egbin Orun's physical presence may be gone, her legacy of goodness will endure.

The post reads: "I returned home from my program only to receive news of this great loss. Prophetess Morenikeji Egbin Orun, you departed without saying goodbye.

"We conversed just last week, oblivious to the fact that you were about to embark on a journey to the great beyond. You were a woman of remarkable beauty, kindness, and a staunch supporter of my ministry.

"I am profoundly saddened by your passing, but we trust in God's divine plan. Your absence will be deeply felt, yet your benevolent deeds will remain etched in our hearts.

"Ah, Egbin Orun. Good night! Rest peacefully in the arms of Christ. Ah, gone too soon. Yeeee."

As of now, the cause of her death remains undisclosed, and no official statement has been released.
