The Grammy-winning Nigerian artist, Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has confidently asserted that even if he were to retire from the music industry at this moment, his counterpart Davido would not surpass him in stature.
Wizkid made this declaration during a heated exchange with Davido on X platform on Monday night.
He referred to Davido as his subordinate, stating that the DMW boss is merely an influencer with a knack for songwriting.
Wizkid's words were, “I have nothing to say to you, my subordinate! Even if I were to retire today, you still wouldn't reach my level. You're an influencer who happens to write songs. I wish you the best.”
