Renowned socialite Pascal Okechukwu, known as Cubana Chief Priest, has advised Nigerians against evading the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
He emphasized that EFCC operatives do not mistreat suspects; instead, they solely conduct investigations and prosecutions.
Cubana Chief Priest highlighted that regardless of where individuals attempt to hide, the EFCC will apprehend those who evade invitations or resist arrest.
The socialite commended the hospitality of the agency, emphasizing that they provide three square meals in their detention facilities.
In a post on his Instagram page, Cubana Chief Priest expressed, "The Eagle will always soar high to apprehend you no matter where you try to hide. There's no need to flee when @officialefcc invites you; simply show up and cooperate. They don't harm, they don't assault; their role is solely to investigate and prosecute. Their detention facilities are equipped with amenities including toilets and bathrooms, and they provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner. So, why attempt to escape?"
It's recalled that Cubana Chief Priest was recently brought before Justice Kehinde Ogundare of the Federal High Court, Lagos, by the EFCC on a three-count charge related to the misuse of the Naira. However, he pleaded not guilty and was subsequently granted bail of N10 million with two sureties in like sum.....
